Spinning Plates…musings on life, love and lessons learned from spinning plates.
Why on earth would I title my blog spinning plates?
As I was contemplating doing this and feeling more and more directed to start, I began thinking about how we always talk about how full our plates are, how we’ve taken something off the plate or cleared our plate…but in my opinion its never that simple.
I began to think more about plates and remembered watching a performer at a circus spin plates on the end of a stick and then adding more plates and then he was using both his hands and a foot, and all the while smiling. I began to think of “doing life” as the act of spinning plates in my very own homegrown circus.
I am definitely not the ringmaster-God’s handling that.
Me…I’m just that insane person who thinks I can keep adding plates and just keep spinning…all the while praying that my world doesn’t come crashing down around me and of course smiling through it all.
I hope my blog touches you in some way, makes you feel, smile, cry, contemplate, laugh even get pissed. Cause at the end of the day we’re all just trying to keep things spinning.
